Hi everyone, I am looking for a midi file or sheet music of the underscore to the battle scene between Kirk and Spock in the episode "Amok Time," specifically known as the "2nd Kroykah." The official website www.startrek.com has been completely redesigned. You'll find lots of new information, pictures, documentaries, interviews etc. The absolute highlight is the full episodes video section containing almost all episodes of the original series and Enterprise. But just before you go on visiting the video section (this will be especially relevant for our little group of a very mixed international composition), please note, the full episodes are not to be watched by European visitors. It might be time for a colourful metaphor about licensing issues now, but I'll keep it to myself... Those who can, enjoy the full episodes! According to TREKMOVIES, the script for Star Trek 12 is finished. The release date could be in 2012 then. Still a long time to wait... Hier ist seit längerer Zeit mal wieder ein neuer Eintrag in der Star Trek MIDI Mailing Liste. Inzwischen gab es ein paar neue Anmeldungen. Wäre schön, wenn Ihr Euch kurz vorstellen könntet. Nun aber zum eigentlichen Grund des Postings... Zum ersten Mal seit Star Trek IV wurde ein Star Trek Film für insgesamt 4 Oscars nominiert. Noch nie hat Star Trek aber auch wirklich einen Oscar gewonnen. Heute Abend steht die Chance also gut, dass Ster Trek auch in Hollywood endlich einmal Anerkennung erlangt. Die Nominationen sind: *Bestes Makeup (tritt an gegen "Il Divo" und "The Young Victoria") *Bestes Sound Editing (tritt an gegen "Avatar", "The Hurt Locker", "Inglorious Bastards", und "Oben") *Bestes Sound Mixing (tritt an gegen "Avatar", "The Hurt Locker", "Inglorious Bastards", und "Transformers") *Beste Visual Effects (tritt an gegen "Avatar" und "District 9") Leider läuft die Oscar Nacht hier ja wörlich mitten in der Nacht...
